In this role, you will be part of the Sector for Children and Education. Our focus is on the development of children and young people. We work with education from preschool to high school and strive for a holistic pedagogical approach from ages 1 to 20. You see digital tools as a natural part of your workday. Gymnasium Skövde is the collective name for the municipality's two high schools, Kavelbro and Västerhöjd. Together, the schools offer 16 national high school programs, introductory programs with various orientations, as well as adapted high school with four national programs and an individual program. We also offer national sports education in handball and football. The schools have a broad international network and exchange with other countries. We are also part of Teknikcollege and the Care and Nursing College. Gymnasium Skövde currently has about 2,300 students and 300 employees. We are looking for a qualified teacher in Swedish.

As a teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in relevant subjects while sharing your knowledge with our students. You are a significant part of the students' development, but you are also an important part of Gymnasium Skövde's continued development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to young people and who enjoys working with students' learning. You are a qualified teacher at the high school level and preferably have experience in similar work.

You are open to new working methods and have a positive view of people. You are also responsible and results-oriented and are eager to take on new challenges. Our operations are based on continuous collaboration and development, which means it is important that you also have good collaborative skills in relation to students, teachers, parents, and other partners both within and outside your own organization.

The students are at the center, and it is important that you as a person fit into the organization, which is why we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you are required to show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the Swedish Police Authority www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).
